MOONS' step servo motors

Introduction
Stepper motors are often used in open-loop systems. The disadvantage is that the set current always flows through the windings, which does not achieve optimal efficiency. By equipping the stepper motor with an encoder and controlling the motor as a multi-pole servo motor, the motor is used optimally. Depending on the required torque, current is sent through the windings, resulting in significantly higher efficiency.
The integrated control is equipped with an RS-485, CANOpen, or EtherCAT fieldbus. The following sizes are available: NEMA8 (11 mm), NEMA11 (28 mm), and NEMA23 (57 mm).
Moons' motors are available in various protection classes:
- IP20 (TSM series)
- IP65 (TXM series)
TSM-X family (EtherCAT)
