Breda Robotics

Breda Robotics is an initiative of various robotics companies, Avans University of Applied Sciences, the municipality of Breda and REWIN. Together they want to stimulate robotization in West Brabant through a Smart Industry Field Lab. Moreover, they would like to provide a solution to the shortage of technical talents in the region.

An ecosystem is created through Breda Robotics in which various stakeholders in the region are linked to each other to stimulate collaboration and coordinate supply and demand. The organization acts as a testing ground for innovative solutions from robotics companies, education and research groups.
They do this by testing setups, sharing knowledge through active workshops and researching new solutions for issues from various industries such as healthcare, ship management, construction, infrastructure, maintenance and more.

Eltrex Motion, specialist in drive and positioning technology and part of the international Eight Lakes group, is a member of Breda Robotics, a Smart Industry Fieldlab.
A Smart Industry Field Lab is a practical environment in which companies develop, test and implement targeted Smart Industry solutions together with knowledge institutions.

Eltrex Motion is a player within these various industries and would therefore like to appeal to the technical talents of tomorrow and inspire enthusiasm for robotization and automation.
