Eltrex launches in France

Eltrex Motion – part of the Eight Lakes group – specializes in drive and positioning technology and is active in the equipment and machinery industries. In recent years the focus has been on further strengthening its position in the ‘Motion Control Technologies’ market in the Benelux. One of the aims has been to better serve existing and new customers by sharing specialist knowledge.

“After our successes in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, we are now ready for the next step: the start of Eltrex France,” says Waltman. “Various customers and partners in the Benelux have asked us to follow them to France. This makes the expansion to France a logical choice. We are convinced that with our expertise we can add value to this new market and create new business opportunities. Especially with Marc Rea on board. With more than 25 years of experience in the motion control market, we will realize our growth ambitions.”

With the opening of Eltrex France, the Eight Lakes group is further expanding its activities in the industrial and professional solutions market. Other companies belonging to the Eight Lakes group are Telerex, EltrexPro, Luxendi, Rodax, Mechatronix, Cooling House, Aveva Select Benelux, Aveva Select Scandinavia, CATS and Cats Power Design. With a total of approximately 320 employees, these companies achieved an annual turnover of 135 million euros in 2021.

Besides, the Eight Lakes group is no stranger to France. The group of companies has offices in Pringy and in Villebon-sur-Yvette near Paris, where Eltrex France is also headquartered.
